Would you like to make a 30 second video of yourself, talking about why you value the NVC Dance Floors? (Minimum resolution 640x480). Would you be willing for this to be part of our film, and be shown all over the world? If so please contact us right away!
The NVC Dance Floors play a big role in the learning of NVC all over the world. Film is an ideal medium to convey what the Dance Floors are all about.
Bridget and Gina have dreamed for years of making a film that would convey the wide-ranging NVC teaching that is embedded in the Dance Floors - and now the right people have come together to make it possible!
Inspired by the Dance Floors, Dutch film maker Sander van Gaalen and director Elkie Deadman are pouring in their professional expertise, filming and editing skills, and studio facilities, in the service of making the Dance Floors method (and its benefits!) available to many more people world-wide.
Would you be willing to contribute financially?
Your donation would be very deeply welcomed! If you donate £20 / €23 / $33 or more, you will receive a free DVD of your choice (worth £25) in 2012!
A short, free intro film will give an overview of the Dance Floors. Three in-depth DVDs will each focus on one 'dance'. They will show people being coached by Bridget in live processes, and will include input on how to support someone on a Dance Floor in an NVC workshop, a 1-to-1 session, or an NVC practice group.
The three DVDs we are making are 'The 13 Step Dance', 'The Self-Empathy Dance', and 'The Anger Dance'. They are for people who are new to the NVC Dance Floors, and those who want to refresh or deepen their understanding.
The DVDs will be spoken in English. We will add subtitles in as many languages as our resources allow.
This project is running on 'lots of love and very little money.' We would love to receive your support to make this a collectively energised and funded project, and will joyfully name you on the rolling credits as a contributor. We will also give you the DVD of your choice, when the films are made.
We need starting capital of £4500 / €5000 / $7300 for up-front costs of the filming, editing, voice-overs and subtitling. Your contribution would be used for items such as: food and travel costs of everyone involved in the 5 days of filming in The Netherlands, hire of soft lights, basic running costs of the studio, and small contributions to our professional camera-man, editors and translators. (No one is being paid a professional rate. Lots of gifted time is involved!)
The release is planned for Spring 2012. Would you enjoy being part of this?
