Marion used the NVC Dance Floors as her working method in her research with troubled teenagers in Canada. Her case study is very moving. The thesis also includes a thorough review of the theoretical underpinnings of NVC, and traces the evolution of the NVC model we use today.

This article outlines the ways in which Nonviolent Communication (NVC) can help individuals and organisations to be more connected and build the sort of communities we wish to inhabit. She describes how it supports increased connectedness in our flexible organisation structures and the inclusion of emotions in the workplace thus facilitating the move from the mechanistic view of organisations to a systemic view.
